The Eastern Shore Information Center is a combined unit of state, county, municipal, and federal law enforcement personnel who will daily focus on obtaining information on crime, criminals, and emerging crime trends throughout the region. Member agencies include the Maryland State Police, Salisbury Police, Ocean City Police, Wicomico County Sheriffs Office, Wicomico County States Attorneys Office, Dorchester County Sheriffs Office, Worcester County Sheriffs Office, Snow Hill Police, Princess Anne Police, and the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center.

The task force will actively obtain and investigate information relating to criminal gangs and other criminal enterprise operations. They will use intelligence analysis, crime mapping, and other techniques to provide immediate information and assistance to Eastern Shore law enforcement agencies.

The purpose of this center is to gather, analyze and rapidly disseminate crime information that will be of immediate interest, use, and benefit to the police officer on the street.
